To install a new language, create a copy of language-us.asp, open it in a text editor and translate the values to your preferred language. Then do the same with calendar-us.asp, which is used for the javascript calendar. Some translations for the calendar are already available in the /jscalendar/translations.zip archive.

Under no circumstances delete language-us.asp, as it is used on every page as a basis for other languages, or calendar-us.js as it is used as a default file in the event of others not being available.

NOTE: Language files made for MegaBBS versions 2.0 and 2.1 ARE NOT compatible with MegaBBS versions 2.2 and above, due to fundamental changes in how language files are handled, as well as the addition of a number of new language tokens.
